Get back to running the country

Now, I'm not going to pretend to be some kind of political buff but isn't all this email nonsense going a bit far?
A Labour aide sent a private email to another Labour aide which contained a few smear ideas agains the Tories. Before long it's out in the open and is front page news.

Now, I may not be in politics myself but isn't smearing people what happens in politics? Hasn't it always been so? And in the grip of a recession don't these people have more to concern themselves with than mudslinging and talks of libel suits? It's like children fighting over who called who what name.
